SHOW YOUR ART in the Manville Arts Council’s 4th Annual Art Expo!
Extended Deadline - Apply by Saturday, April 13, 2019
The Manville Arts Council proudly announces the 4th Annual Art Expo beginning with Opening Night Artists Reception on May 3, 2019, 6-8pm at the Manville Public Library.
This year the Art Expo will have a theme: The Four Elements - Air, Water, Fire, Earth
The ancient Greeks believed four simple elements made up all matter in the universe: air, water, fire and earth. This idea was the cornerstone of philosophy, science, and medicine for thousands of years. This year the Manville Arts Council presents this idea as the theme for our 4th Annual Art Expo. We are looking for artists who can use the theme to inspire a creation through material, media, and/or content. We encourage outside-of-the-box thinking. As you creat your artwork and begin your application, please take a moment to reflect on what these elements mean to you and how one or more of them are reflected in your work.
We look forward to sharing the various ways this year’s theme will be interpreted with our community.
The Expo is open to all New Jersey artists age 16 and older. You can submit up to four pieces. We’ve extended our deadline. We are accepting applications through Saturday, April 13, 2019. Artwork will be on display for two weeks until May 17, 2019.

Our goal is to create a free and public event to improve accessibility to the arts within our borough. The Manville Arts Council is focused on creating opportunities to spotlight local talent and further develop the arts culture in Manville. Be a part of a great celebration of the arts.
