2025 Manville Arts Council Scholarship

The MAC Art Scholarship is given to the student who plans to pursue a higher education in the arts of any form. This year’s recipient is Jaime Gavilanes-Diaz. MAC President Christina Bucciero had the honor of awarding Jaime at the MHS Scholarship award ceremony on June 5, 2025.

Good evening,

My name is Christina Bucciero, and I’m proud to be here tonight representing the Manville Arts Council.

This year marks a very special milestone for our organization—our 10th anniversary. For the past decade, the Manville Arts Council has worked to support and promote the arts throughout our community. From public events and performances to creative workshops and partnerships with local schools, we’ve seen firsthand the incredible impact that the arts have on individuals and communities.

One of the highlights of our work is the opportunity to support young people who are passionate about making a difference through creativity and service. Tonight, I have the honor of presenting the 2025 Manville Arts Council Scholarship to a remarkable student who truly embodies our mission.

This year’s recipient is Jaime Gavilanes-Diaz.

Jaime has stood out not only for his creativity and dedication, but also for his commitment to pursuing a career in education — a path that will allow him to inspire future generations and help shape the minds and hearts of tomorrow.We are proud to support Jaime as he begins this exciting journey, and we are confident he will bring both passion and purpose to everything he does.
